There’s no shortage of third-party web browsers for Android and Samsung now wants you to add another one to the list. The Samsung Internet browser was previously exclusive to the company’s own Galaxy smartphones. That’s no longer the case. The latest update of Samsung Internet opens up the browser to any and all Android smartphones. It also brings several new features that were first detailed in the beta version of this update.

The Samsung Internet browser can now be downloaded on any Android smartphone that’s powered by Android 5.0 and higher. It’s available for download right away from the Google Play Store.

Some of the new features that were highlighted in the beta include a night mode which makes it easier on the eyes to browse the web in the dark. It also brings a high contrast mode which displays white text on a dark background.

Users will be able to install and manage their preferred ad-blocking tools from the Settings menu. Samsung Internet also features an integrated ad tracking blocker which will be enabled by default in the Secret Mode.

Samsung has also said that those who use its browser can now earn Samsung Rewards points, but this is only limited to those who are using Samsung Internet on devices that are supported by Samsung Pay.

The company’s mobile payments service only supports Galaxy smartphones right now. The latest version of Samsung Internet is now available as a free download from the Google Play Store.
