The Legend of Zelda titles have been mostly one-off titles where once you’ve completed the game, you’re pretty much done with it. However with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nintendo has approached it differently by announcing that the game would be getting a bunch of DLCs in the future.

Now the first DLC, Master Trials, has since been launched, which means that if you purchased the Expansion Pass, you can expect a second DLC titled “The Champions’ Ballad”. For those wondering about the status of the second DLC and when they might be able to expect it, you’ll be pleased to learn that Nintendo has confirmed that the DLC is on track for a release by the end of 2017.

This is according to a video posted by Nintendo Australia / New Zealand in which company exec Eiji Aonuma confirmed that the development team is working on the DLC “with great effort”, and that is it expected to be available by the end of this year. No specific dates have been mentioned, but a report from Kotaku quotes Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime as debunking the 10th of November rumor.

According to Fils-Aime, “We will shortly be announcing the date for that content, so I would not lock and load on November 10th.” In any case we’ll keep our eyes and ears peeled so check back with us shortly for more updates.
