When it comes to mobile browsers, there are many options to choose from. For example on iOS you have the option of using the native browser Safari, or alternatively you could download third-party browsers like Google’s Chrome, Opera, or Firefox. Now if you’re partial to Firefox, the app’s latest update could be worth checking out.

Mozilla has recently released an update for Firefox on iOS which bumps it up to version 10. With this particular update, Mozilla has introduced a brand new design that they are calling “Photon”, which is said to be a modern and somewhat minimalist design that makes it easier to navigate the app along with the app’s menu.

If you’re someone who surfs with multiple tabs open, Firefox 10 will also introduce a new way that content appears whenever a new tab has been created. Other changes include search suggestions where Firefox can list popular search suggestions by default; relocation of the QR code reader; and a “No Image” mode that basically blocks all images from loading on a website.

If you’re running low on data or if you want pages to load faster, then this is a mode worth checking out. The update should be live so head on over to the iTunes App Store for the download.
