When it comes to sous vide machines for home use, there are plenty of options available to home cooks at the moment. For example there is the Anova sous vide, Joule, Sous Vide Supreme, and so on. However it looks like another company will be tossing their hat into the ring with a sous vide called the Mellow.

Most of the sous vide machines these days are “smart” in the sense that they are connected. This means that users will be able to control them using their smartphone either by Bluetooth or WiFi, which is something that the Mellow will offer its users as well. However unlike the competition, the Mellow does offer one feature that the rest doesn’t: refrigeration.

The Mellow is a sous vide machine that cooks food the sous vide way, but at the same time it comes with a built-in refrigeration system that allows users to keep their food fresh until it is ready to cook. This means that you could leave your food in the machine before you go to work, and its refrigeration system will keep it cold and fresh until you’re ready to begin cooking, and all of this can be controlled remotely thanks to its WiFi connectivity.

Unfortunately unlike options like the Joule or Anova, Mellow is pretty expensive at $399. However if you think that there are benefits to what it offers, then head on over to its website and place your order.
