If you’ve always wanted to enjoy a South Park video game on your mobile device, you will be pleased to learn that Ubisoft and RedLynx have released South Park: Phone Destroyer for both iOS and Android devices. The game was originally announced at E3 earlier this year, and now it is available for download.

According to Ubisoft’s description of the game, “South Park: Phone Destroyer lets you team up with all your favorite South Park characters as you’ve never seen them before! This brand new mobile card collection real-time battle game will allow you to assemble a team of South Park characters, and bring them onto the battlefield to vanquish mighty bosses, and other players!”

Basically it is more or less like a digital card game such as Hearthstone except based on the South Park franchise and featuring South Park characters. The game itself will be free-to-play but do take note that there will be microtransactions offered. Ubisoft stresses that gamers won’t have to pay anything to see everything the game has to offer, but we suppose there could be moments that might tempt you into spending real-life money.

According to Ubisoft, “The game is free to play. Everything can be earned in the game without paying, but you can choose to spend real world money if you wish. The game is designed so that nothing is ever locked behind a paywall. Everything in the game is available to all players as they progress, whether they choose to spend real-world money or not.” Gamers who are interested will be able to download the game via the iTunes App Store or Google Play.
