While DC has been trying their best with their superhero movies, it’s safe to say that they haven’t really been living up to expectations despite the fact that some of these movies feature some of the biggest names in superhero comics of all time. However that changed with Woman Woman which is probably DC’s most successful superhero flick to date.

With the success of the first movie, we’re sure many are hankering for more Wonder Woman and the good news is that Warner Bros. has recently confirmed that Wonder Woman 2 is set for a 1st of November, 2019 release. Prior to this, Warner had stated that Wonder Woman 2 would be released on the 13th of December, 2019, but for whatever reason the movie will now be released about a month earlier, which we guess is good news for fans.

It has been speculated that the move up in release date is so that Wonder Woman won’t have to compete with Star Wars Episode IX, which is currently set for the 20th of December, 2019, which given that it is the last in the current trilogy will probably be something that everyone will want to watch.

We should point out that there have been some rumors about Gal Gadot threatening to pull out of Wonder Woman 2 should Brett Ratner’s company Ratpac-Dune Entertainment is involved. However Deadline claims that these rumors are false, and that Ratner’s company’s involvement with Warner Bros. ended earlier this April with Rampage, meaning that there were no plans for his company to finance Wonder Woman 2 in the first place.
