Samsung’s Infinity Display design so far has been used for its high-end flagship handsets, like the Galaxy S8, S8+, and the Note 8. However it looks like Samsung is getting ready to bring that feature over to its mid-range handsets because according to a report from SamMobile, that design could be coming to handsets like the Galaxy A8/A8+.

This is based on a recently discovered manual for the handset in which several details about the upcoming handset have been revealed, such as its Infinity Display. In addition to the display, which basically will see the display stretched from edge to edge, the Galaxy A8/A8+ phones are also expected to feature dual front-facing cameras which could hint that a portrait mode-like feature could be coming to the front-facing camera.

The good news is that based on the manual, it looks like Samsung will continue keeping the headphone jack on the Galaxy A8/A8+, which could be a good sign for Samsung’s 2018 flagships. Unfortunately there is no word on when the phone will be announced, and given that CES is around the corner, perhaps we could learn more about the phone then, or maybe even earlier.

Either way we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more details, so check back with us at a later date if you’d like more updates.
