Now that CES is behind us, the next major event coming up will be MWC 2018 which will be kicking off towards the end of February. While CES focused more on smart home appliances, wild proof-of-concepts, and crazy displays, MWC will focus on mobile devices in which we can expect quite a few announcements.

One of those announcements will be from Nokia/HMD Global and it is said to be “awesome”, or at least that’s what HMD’s Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas is claiming. In a post on Twitter, Sarvikas has told Nokia-hopefuls to expect something “awesome” at the event. It’s really anyone’s guess as to what might be announced, but we have been hearing rumors about the Nokia 9 so that’s a possibility.

It is also possible that HMD could announce refreshes of the Nokia handsets launched in 2017, such as the Nokia 6 and Nokia 7. It is also possible that HMD could refresh the Nokia 3310 with support for 4G LTE, given that the previous version only supported 3G. In any case we should find out in due time what HMD has in store for us, so if you are looking forward to seeing more/new Nokia products, remember to check back with us in the coming weeks for the details.
