[CES 2018] Laptop sleeves are meant to protect the computers inside of them, but Incase wants to take that concept further and at CES 2018, the company has announced the Incase IconConnected Power Sleeve. This is a laptop sleeve designed for the MacBook Pro that also doubles up as a battery pack.

The IconConnected Power Sleeve will feature a built-in 14,000mAh battery, which means that it is capable of charging your MacBook on the go. The sleeve will be compatible with both the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pros with USB-C ports, and the sleeve also comes with an external USB-A port which users can attach other cables to it, such as Lightning, micro USB, USB-C, and so on to charge other USB devices.

In terms of charging, Incase claims that the IconConnected Power Sleeve will be capable of charging the MacBook Pro at least more than once, and many times over for devices with smaller batteries, like that of the iPhone, iPad, and so on. Of course such a sleeve does not come cheap and Incase has priced it at $199.95.

For those who are interested in getting their hands on it, the Incase IconConnected Power Sleeve isn’t available for purchase yet but it is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2018.
