[CES 2018] Last year keyboard maker Matias unveiled the wireless keyboard aimed at Mac users. For the most part the keyboard is identical to Apple’s own keyboard, save for the color scheme. However if for whatever reason you’re not a fan of wireless keyboards, not to worry as Matias has since unveiled a new offering at CES this year.

The latest keyboard offering from Matias is a wired keyboard, which on the surface seems identical to last year’s model. However given that it is meant to mimic the Mac keyboard, it makes sense that Matias did not stray too far from the design. However one key difference is that it will feature RGB backlighting.

This means that in addition to white backlighting, users will be able to choose between different colors to suit their mood. The fact that it is wired also means never having to deal with spotty Bluetooth connections, or worrying about it running out of battery. Users will be able to swap between colors thanks to a slider found on the back of the keyboard and hidden out of sight.

Matias will also be offering the keyboard in white, silver, and space grey, which means you won’t have to pay exorbitant fees for second-hand iMac Pro accessories. The keyboard is available for pre-order and is priced at $99 and will be shipping late February.
