We’re not sure how many of you guys out there want to rock clothing and accessories that are themed around video games, but if you do, you might be interested to learn that Nintendo and Bloomingdales have recently announced a partnership to launch a spring collection for clothing and accessories called “Let’s Play”.

This will include all kinds of clothing and accessories and even homeware, and will see designs from their partnered designers such as Marc Jacobs, Paul Smith, Gitman Vintage, and Sovereign Code. This is actually not the first time that Nintendo has launched fashion items themed around its franchises.

A couple of years ago Nintendo and Vans teamed up for sneakers that featured various characters from Nintendo’s games. Speaking of shoes, you might recall that earlier this month Nike designed a pair of shoes for Oklahoma City Thunder player Paul George that were themed around Sony’s PlayStation console.

According to Kevin Harter, group vice president of integrated marketing, “With the 90s nostalgia happening in fashion and pop culture, Nintendo is the perfect partner to take over the Bloomingdale’s spring campaign. We are continually trying to enhance our customer experience, and partnering with Nintendo on in-store activation and limited-edition merchandise reinforces the notion that fashion is about having fun.” The Let’s Play event will be launching on the 10th of March and is expected to end mid-April.
