We’ve been hearing rumors that Apple could launch three new iPhones this year, one of which could be a 6.5-inch model. Now according to a report from Mac Otakara, additional details about the rumored 6.5-inch iPhone have been revealed, namely its size/dimension in which the report claims it could be similar to the iPhone 8 Plus.

As it stands the iPhone Plus series of phones feature a 5.5-inch display, but due to the bezels of the phone, it makes it larger than the iPhone X which has a slightly larger display. If the report is true, then the 6.5-inch is expected to sport some pretty thin bezels along with an edge-to-edge display if it is going to be of the same size as the iPhone 8 Plus.

For those looking for a bit of context and comparison, Mac Otakara has posted several photos of mockup that you can see in the photo above. Based on these mockups, it seems that the 6.5-inch iPhone could be slightly bigger than the iPhone 8 Plus, but if you’ve no problems using the iPhone 8 Plus or Apple’s other Plus iPhones, then this shouldn’t be an issue.

Previous reports have claimed that Apple is also expected to keep its 5.8-inch iPhone and will also be launching a 6.1-inch iPhone. The 6.1-inch model is rumored to be the more affordable model as it will sport an LCD screen instead of an OLED.
