There has been a lot of speculation about the 2018 iPhone lineup so far and while Apple hasn’t commented on any of that, it has confirmed today when it’s going to launch the devices. The company has just sent invites to the press confirming that its 2018 iPhone event is going to take place on September 12th.

The confirmation isn’t really surprising since Apple’s annual fall iPhone event normally takes place around this time. If the reports so far are to be believed, the company is going to launch three new iPhones this year. It may possibly launch an updated iPad Pro and Apple Watch as well.

The official invite mentions that the event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California on September 12th at 10 am PT. The image on the invite doesn’t give any hint about the products Apple will be unveiling at the event since it’s essentially a representation of the company’s new campus that opened last year.

The three new iPhones due on September 12th are said to include a new iPhone X with a 5.8 inch OLED display, a new iPhone with a 6.5 inch OLED display, and an affordably priced model with a 6.1 inch LCD display.

We can expect to see more leaks and reports concerning the devices in the days leading up to the event.
