When it comes to product releases, Apple can usually be relied on for releases that aren’t too far apart from its announcement. The new iPhones are expected to be officially announced on the 12th of September and from what we have seen in the past, Apple usually doesn’t take too long to release them.

This is why despite it being unofficial, we can’t say we’re too surprised to learn that the new models could be released on the 21st of September. This is according to a leak (obtained by iPhone Italia) of what appears to be an internal messaging system used by an Italian shipping company who is telling its employees to anticipate higher workloads in the near future.

The messaging system does not specifically mention the iPhones, but given that the subject line has Apple’s name on it and given the timing of the announcement and past releases, it’s hard not to assume that this could be about the new iPhones. However it should be noted that given that this is an Italian company, the info could be for the Italian market or Europe.

However as Italy is among the first markets to receive the new iPhones, it’s probably safe to assume that this is applicable for other markets as well. Either way we should find out soon enough as Apple will be announcing it all this coming Wednesday. Note that there have been rumors suggesting that the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone could be delayed, possibly until October.
