Apple has confirmed that come 30th October, they will be hosting an event. The company has not confirmed what the event will be about, but it has been largely speculated that the event would most likely see Apple announce new iPads, but now there is more evidence that could indicate that we might see new Mac computers as well.

This is according to the EEC database discovered by Consomac (via BGR) in which several new Mac model numbers were spotted. Apple had earlier this year refreshed its MacBook Pro, which means that this event probably won’t see new MacBook Pros. Instead it is believed that we might be able to expect a refresh of the iMac, the MacBook Air, the MacBook, and possibly the Mac Mini as well which hasn’t been updated for quite a while now.

There have been rumors about a potentially cheaper MacBook laptop and this event could see that rumor come to fruition. The main focus of the event will most likely be focused on the iPad which is expected to be getting a brand new design and also brand new features such as Face ID and a USB-C port instead of Lightning.

In any case we should have all the official details in less than a week’s time, so be sure to check back with us next week for updates.
