Last month the good folks at Mophie took the wraps off a bunch of wireless charging accessories, one of which was the Charge Stream Desk Stand. For those who were intrigued by the device, you’ll be pleased to learn that the wireless charger is now available for those who wouldn’t mind spending $70 to get their hands on it.According to Mophie’s description, “The mophie charge stream desk stand provides high-speed wireless charging at home or at the office. The desk stand wirelessly delivers up to 10W of power on contact and is optimized for both Apple (7.5W) and Samsung (9W) Fast Charge. It is designed to hold virtually any Qi-enabled smartphone in both portrait and landscape positions for optimal viewing.”
What makes the charger slightly different from its competitors is that it will support charging in either landscape or portrait mode, depending on your preference. It will feature the use of stainless steel in its frame’s construction, and will come bundled with a 5-foot microUSB power cable and power adapter. It will also play nicely with devices in cases up to 3mm thick.
However at $70, this isn’t exactly the cheapest charging accessory we’ve come across, but if you think that it’s worth it, head on over to Mophie’s website to get your hands on it.
