While Motorola doesn’t seem to be interested in competing in the high-end segment of smartphones these days, they should not be discounted because their mid-range handsets are pretty popular. In fact if you are thinking about getting yourself a mid-ranger, Motorola could have a new handset in the works.

Thanks to leaked renders posted by Mr Gizmo (via XDA), images of what appear to be the Moto G7 and G7 Plus have made their way online. As XDA points out, this is actually not the first time the G7 has been leaked, so if anything these renders more or less confirm what was already shown, which includes an edge-to-edge display and a small teardrop-like notch at the top.

In terms of specs, the G7 will feature a 6-inch Full HD+ display, while the G7 Plus will have a larger 6.4-inch Full HD+ display. They will differ in terms of their processors as well, where the G7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 660, while the G7 Plus will be powered by the Snapdragon 710.

We are also looking a 4GB and 6GB of RAM respectively, and both phones appear to have a similar dual camera setup on the back which consists of a 16+5MP combo, and a 12MP front-facing shooter. Battery wise, the rumors are claiming 3,500mAh battery for the G7, and a slightly larger battery (exactly how much is unclear) for the G7 Plus.
