Were you a fan of Star Wars Rogue One and hated how the movie ended? We know that it had to end the way it did to continue the overarching Star Wars trilogy, but we’re sure that many would have loved to get to know the characters a bit better. The good news is that it looks like fans will be getting their wish.

According to Disney, they have announced that one of the shows that will be launching with its upcoming Disney+ service is a prequel series based on Rogue One. The series will star Diego Luna who for those who might have forgot or are unfamiliar, plays as Cassian Andor in the movie, so it will be nice to see him reprise his role.

It is unclear as to who else might be in the movie and whether or not Felicity Jones will be in it as well as Jyn Erso, although given that this is a prequel that means that neither character has anything to do with each other since they only meet at the events the movie was based around. No word on when the series will be launching, but it could be of interest to Star Wars fans who want a little extra.

Disney+ will be launching next year but the company has yet to officially confirm a launch date, regional availability, and how much it will cost. However it is expected to contain content from Marvel, Disney, Pixar, National Geographic, and Star Wars, just to name a few.
