This means that sometimes you will come across situations where you can’t find the song or artist that you want. However the good news is that according to researcher Jane Manchun Wong, she has discovered that Spotify for Android could soon be getting an import feature. This feature would allow users to directly import music from their Android device, so if you have some songs stored on it, you can import them to Spotify which should save you time from having to switch between music apps.

It is unclear how this will work and if it will be similar to Apple’s iTunes Match, where users can upload songs that might not be otherwise found on Apple Music, and allow it to be streamed across multiple devices that share the same Apple Music account. No word on when this feature might be released but we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
