Many were no doubt relieved when it was revealed that Skybound Games would be picking up where Telltale left off on development of The Walking Dead game. Also considering that this is the final season for the game, we’re sure that many gamers are happy that even though Telltale has shut down, the game will be wrapped up and concluded properly.
Last we heard the final season of the game was being worked on, but an announcement and confirmation by Skybound themselves has revealed that we will be able to expect the final season to launch in 2019. To be more specific, the third episode will be launching on the 15th of January, 2019, and we expect that details about the fourth and final episode will follow after.
So far the first two episodes have already been released. Skybound has also released a teaser trailer for the upcoming episode, as well as announce that they are bringing back all the previous seasons and episodes. This means that gamers who want to download them and keep them for replayability, or if you’re new to the franchise, you can go ahead and do so on all platforms that the game was previously available on.
However Skybound notes that this won’t be available on PC just yet as they are still sorting it out, but it should be made available later.
