#CES2019 – There are plenty of gaming headsets out there in the market today, but if you’re looking for a new pair and want to see what the latest headsets might have to offer, then HyperX might have something for you. The company has recently announced the Cloud Orbit and Cloud Orbit S headsets that were made together with Audeze and Waves Technology.

What this means is that these headsets will be using the 100mm planar magnetic drivers that are found in the Audeze Mobius. However one of the main differences between both headsets is that the Cloud Orbit S model will use Waves NX head tracking technology to provide 360-degree audio when you move your head about, kind of life in real life.

There will also be a microphone with a pop filter which has become more or less standard fare in gaming headsets these days. However we should note that both these headsets are wired, so if you’re shopping about for a wireless gaming headset then maybe these aren’t for you. There will also be several different cable options to choose from, such as 3.5mm, USB-C to USB-A, and USB-C to USB-C.

As far as pricing is concerned, the Cloud Orbit will be priced at $300 while the Cloud Orbit S will retail at a slightly higher price of $330.
