Many mocked Apple when the company launched the AirPods. This was due to the design of the earphones which looked like regular Apple earphones with the wires cut off. However the earphones has managed to sell pretty well to date, and it also seems to be yet another product of Apple’s that its competitors love to copy.

In fact Xiaomi has recently taken the wraps off their latest wireless earphones called the Mi AirDots Pro, which as you can see in the photo above looks like it could pass off as a pair of AirPods at a glance. These are pretty standard earphones that offer up “true” wireless connectivity and comes with a charging case that will recharge the earphones when they run out of juice.

Gizchina also reports that the earphones are IPX4 rated which means that they are water-resistant to a certain degree. While you probably shouldn’t swim with them, their rating means that they should be able to withstand your sweat at the gym. There are also touch controls for media playback, calls, launching voice assistants, and it can also detect when you’ve removed it from your ears.

The best part is its price, where at $60 they are definitely a lot cheaper than the AirPods if you’re looking for a pair of no-frills earphones. No word on whether the headphones will be launched outside of China, but they could be worth taking a look at if they do.
