YouTube Music subscribers will now be able to stream music from their preferred service on Sonos speakers. It has been confirmed today that YouTube Music is now available on Sonos. All users need to do is add a paid Premium subscription to their Sonos system to gain access to YouTube’s music streaming service.

Setting it up is fairly simple. Update to the latest version of the Sonos app and then use the Add Music Services option to link your YouTube Music account. Once that’s done, you will be able to stream music from the service through Sonos speakers.

There are a couple of ways through which you can access this service. All Google Play Music, YouTube Music Premium, and YouTube Premium subscribers also have access to YouTube Music. It allows access to a vast library of tracks from countless artists which can then be streamed on-demand.

The only caveat here is that YouTube Music can only be added to the Sonos app in countries where the former is available. This includes the likes of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
