In the past Apple has typically been seen as an innovative company, but recently their products and offerings just feel more of the same, where they don’t seem to be paying any attention to what their customers want or are saying to them. If you’re hoping that this could change in the future, think again.

During a talk to investors, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook seemed pretty upbeat about the company’s future. According to the report from Bloomberg, Cook was quoted as saying that Apple would be “rolling the dice” on future products, suggesting that the company will be taking a gamble on future products that may or may not work out.

Exactly what these products are remains to be seen, so we guess we’ll just have to wait and see. So far what we have heard is that Apple could be planning on launching a brand new 16-inch MacBook Pro later this year. There are also rumors that the new Mac Pro will feature a stackable/modular design.

Those represent some pretty major changes that we can expect from the company, but whether or not that would be classified as “rolling the dice” is unclear. The company has also taken a beating with its iPhones where due to its price tag, it has resulted in less than ideal sales figures, but hopefully these changes will improve Apple’s overall outlook.
