Director Zack Snyder was set to direct the DCEU’s Justice League movie, and he did for a while, at least until a family tragedy struck where he was forced to take a break from work. He eventually handed the reins over to Joss Whedon where massive reshoots were made that affected the end result of the movie.

There have been many wondering had Snyder successfully finished directing the movie, would it have been better than Whedon’s take? So much so that there have been rumors that there is actually a “Snyder cut” version of the movie that would have given us a look at what Snyder’s take on Justice League could look like. As it turns out, the rumors were true.

During the Director’s Cuts fundraiser event, Snyder spoke with fans where according to one fan recording, the director confirmed that the alleged Snyder cut does exist, and that it is done. He also claims to have a “bunch of them”, but unfortunately whether or not they will be released seems to be entirely up to Warner Bros.

Snyder also alluded to the fact that his cut of Justice League would have run for 214 minutes, making it a little over 3.5 hours, making it longer than Marvel’s upcoming Avengers: Endgame which is said to clock in just over 3 hours. It is unclear as to whether or not Warner Bros. will ever release the Snyder cut of the movie, but it is something that fans are undoubtedly very curious about.
