While the iPhone XR might not be made of the same premium materials as the iPhone XS and XS Max, one of the ways that it distinguishes itself is through the use of colors, where they are offered in more colorful options compared to the other iPhones. If this a feature that you can appreciate, then the next-gen iPhone XR could be of interest to you.

According to a report from Mac Otakara, they have claimed to have heard that with the iPhone XR 2, Apple could be looking to introduce new color options to the lineup. This will come in the form of the Green and Lavender, but it seems that in the process, it could end up replacing two existing color options, which is Coral and Blue.

It is unclear why these colors will be replaced, but perhaps they aren’t selling quite as well. Color options might seem rather trivial, but as it has been shown in the past, it actually matters, such as when Apple launched the rose gold version of the iPhone which they apparently created with the Chinese market in mind.

In addition to the new color options, it was previously reported that the iPhone XR 2 could also be adopting a dual camera design, making the phone more compelling for those who’d rather spend over $1,000 for a smartphone.
