We have to admit that this year round, we are pretty psyched to see what OnePlus has to offer. This is because OnePlus not only offers phones that are of flagship quality, but offers them at much more affordable prices. Plus, we have heard that this year, OnePlus could actually have a “Pro” variant of their flagship smartphone in the works.

How “Pro” are we talking about? According to recently spotted benchmarks on Geekbench, it has revealed that the phone has a single-core score of 3,551 and a multi-core score of 11,012. For those who aren’t sure what these numbers mean, to give you some context, the single-core scores of the phone show that it is above handsets like last year’s Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and even the Snapdragon variants of the Samsung Galaxy S10 handsets.

As for the multi-core score, a score of 11,012, it shows that the OnePlus 7 Pro could very well be the fastest Android smartphone at the moment. According to Geekbench’s listings, the current confirmed Android smartphone that tops the multi-core benchmarks would be the Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S10+ at 10,640, meaning that the OnePlus 7 Pro’s scores have raced past it.

Whether or not these benchmark scores are accurate is unclear so we’ll probably have to wait for the final released to be 100% certain, plus benchmark scores don’t always tell the complete picture so just take it at face value for now. The OnePlus 7 is currently set for an official launch on the 14th of May.
