Just the other day, specs of GoPro’s upcoming Hero 8 camera was leaked. However, as it turns out, the Hero 8 might not be the only camera in GoPro’s lineup because according to the folks at Photo Rumors, they have stumbled across photos of another GoPro camera which will apparently be known as the GoPro Max.

As you can see in the photo above, the GoPro Max looks familiar. If you’re wondering why this looks familiar, it is because GoPro a couple of years ago had launched the GoPro Fusion, a camera designed to help capture 360-degree video footage. It is believed that the GoPro Max will be the successor to the GoPro Fusion, but what exactly are the differences is unclear.

Photos of the camera were taken at the Japanese Ministry of Communications (the country’s version of the FCC) where it was registered. It has also been noted that the camera has also been registered at the FCC. This suggests that the camera could be getting close to a launch.

We had previously heard that the GoPro Hero 8 could be launched in September, so there is a good chance that the GoPro Max could be announced alongside it as well.
