Spy cams hidden in bathrooms aren’t new, but unfortunately, it seems that such practices do not appear to be stopping anytime soon. In fact, more recently, there was a report of how a man was accused of hiding a spy cam inside the bathroom of a United Airlines flight after a woman discovered the device.

According to the reports, the woman discovered the spy cam in the bathroom during her flight when she noticed an item situated on the door hinge with a blinking blue light. She told the flight attendants about it, who then took it and passed it to the United Airlines security team, who later confirmed that it was a spy camera.

The camera contained footage of the man installing it, a Malaysian citizen by the name of Choon Ping Lee, who the police then managed to identify and arrest based on what he was wearing and his distinctive jewelry. According to a statement made by United Airlines, “The safety and security of our customers is our top priority. When our crew was alerted of this issue they acted quickly to notify the appropriate authorities.”

Lee has since been arrested and now faces a misdemeanor charge of video voyeurism.
