Earlier this year, Apple launched the Smart Battery Case for the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and the iPhone XS Max. With that being said, it makes sense that the company would want to carry on that tradition with the 2019 iPhones, and now thanks to the folks at 9toMac, they have discovered evidence that suggests that new Smart Battery Cases could be coming for the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

There is no word on when Apple will be releasing these new battery cases, but it does seem strange that they were not announced alongside the new iPhones. However, it is possible that they could be ready in time for the holiday shopping season, so we will be keeping our eyes peeled for when the accessory is officially launched.

That being said, this year’s iPhones are said to offer up better battery life, with Apple boasting at least an additional four hours. So far, early reviews of the new iPhones have indeed found that Apple’s claims to be somewhat true. However, this doesn’t mean that there aren’t users who might be able to benefit from the added battery life.

There is no word on whether these new cases will sport a new design or if Apple plans on keeping the same design, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
