We had heard the rumors and seen some evidence suggesting that Apple could be working on Smart Battery Cases for the iPhone 11. Given that Apple had previously released Smart Battery Cases for some of the older iPhone models, we suppose it isn’t a stretch to think that Apple could have new models in the works as well.

For those who might have bought the iPhone 11, you’ll be pleased to learn that Apple has since officially announced new Smart Battery Cases for the entire lineup. This includes the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max, with the prices of the accessory priced at $129. According to the listing, Apple promises up to 50% longer battery life.

With the new iPhones already sporting better battery life than its predecessors, we imagine that the new battery cases will give users even more battery life, potentially pushing the phone to maybe two days of usage, although your mileage may vary depending on how you use your phone.

While its design isn’t too different from its predecessors, the new case actually comes with a dedicated button that will launch the camera app even when your phone is locked. The case is also Qi-compatible which means that you can wirelessly charge the case and the phone at the same time.
