If the rumors are to be believed, Apple could be launching 5G iPhones in 2020. Some have also suggested that there could be as many as four 5G iPhones in 2020, but not everyone agrees. According to Rosenblatt analyst Jun Zhang, he believes that not all of 2020’s iPhones could be coming with the tech.

Instead, Zhang believes that based on what his sources are telling him that Apple could release a mix of both 4G and 5G models, although he does not seem to be clear as to which model will support which. That being said, we might be able to make some educated guesses as to which model could support 4G or 5G.

For example, one of the rumors claims that Apple could launch the iPhone SE 2 next year. Given that this will be a budget iPhone model, there is a good chance that it might not come with 5G. Apple is also expected to launch the successor to the iPhone 11, and it will not come with 5G.

There will also be the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro “Plus” in which both of these models are expected to launch with 5G, but at the same time, there will also be 4G alternatives for those who don’t see the need for a 5G model. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully we’ll have more details soon.
