rivian

Tesla Cybertruck was all over the news when it launched for all the right/wrong reasons.

However, Rivian, a rival electric truck manufacturer teased a feature of its truck that could put Cybertruck to shame.

Of course, it all comes down to what you prefer. But, a 360-degree turn from a standstill position on an electric truck is definitely impressive.

For some, this might just be a party trick and for others, this could come in handy for a lot of reasons.

We cannot comment on how useful it will be – but it is definitely the right step to advertise something as an alternative to Tesla’s Cybertruck.

They shared the video via Twitter, you can find it in action here:

As per the official tweet, this feature will be available on the R1T and R1S model. Both of the offerings will go on sale in late 2020.

Also, the price for R1T and R1S will be $69,000 and $72,500 respectively – which is on the expensive side for sure.

Considering that Rivian is a close rival to Tesla’s electric cars (especially for SUVs and trucks), it will be interesting to keep an eye out for the developments made on both the electric trucks.

After all, a worthy competitor is good for the electric vehicle market in a way. What do you think?
