While Dyson might be known for its vacuum cleaners and fancy hair dryers, the company also got into the lighting business where they have created some pretty sleek and stylish lamps. Now it looks like the company is back with its latest lighting efforts in the form of the Dyson Lightcycle Morph, a lamp that wants to do everything.

As the name suggests, this is a lamp that can “morph” into different shapes depending on what you need it for. It can also pivot its head where it can act as a spotlight to shine on objects, like a painting. It can also be pivoted downwards where it can be used as a reading lamp.

However, that’s not all because the stem of the lamp can also light up where it can create ambient lighting in the form of a comforting, orange glow, helping to create a relaxed mood and also to reduce the amount of blue light emitted. There is also a smaller desk version in case that’s what you prefer.

In addition to the various lighting styles, Dyson is also touting the longevity of the lamp where they claim that due to its design and the use of a heat pipe, it can help draw heat away from the LEDs which in turn should help it last longer for as long as up to 60 years (although your mileage may vary).

The Dyson Lightcycle Morph will be priced at $650 for the desk model, and $850 for the floor model.
