When you think of Sony, you might think of the PlayStation, or you might think of the Walkman, or you might think of headphones or speakers, or you might think about their cameras. However, at CES 2020, the company has managed to surprise us all by taking the wraps off a concept electric car called the VISION-S.

Now, before you start wondering if this is a sign that Sony will start making their own cars, it doesn’t seem that way. Instead, the VISION-S is more about Sony showing off their strengths as a company where various technologies across Sony’s different divisions have somehow been incorporated into the car itself.

For example, the car will come equipped with a multitude of sensors inside and out. There will also be widescreen displays used in the car, along with features like 360-degree audio, and more, all of which showcases some of the strengths and products that Sony has come to be known for.

Sony is said to have worked with several partners in the industry to make this concept into a reality, where they teamed up with the likes of Bosch, Continental, Genetex, Magna, and NVIDIA. That being said, it is a very beautiful and stunning prototype that honestly, we wouldn’t mind seeing made a reality in the future.
