Apple has confirmed that they will be hosting an event on the 13th of October where presumably the iPhone 12 lineup will be announced. However, it seems that if you were hoping to get your hands on the newer iPhones, depending on the model you’re choosing, you might have to wait until November.

This is according to posts made on Weibo by a user calling themselves Kang and then reshared on Twitter by Ice Universe. According to Kang, they are claiming that the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be released later than the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. The latter two iPhones are expected to be released on the 23rd or 24th of October, but the iPhone 12 Mini and the iPhone 12 Pro Max will only be released in November.

According to the post, the phones are expected to be available nearly a month later on the 20th or 21st of November. We’re not sure what could be the reason behind the delay. Perhaps it could be due to the new design, where the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro will sport a similar display size, so we guess Apple could kill two birds with one stone.

Whereas with the iPhone 12 Mini with its rumored 5.4-inch display and the iPhone 12 Pro Max with its 6.7-inch screen, those might take longer. Either way, we’ll have to wait and see if these rumors pan out, so take it with a grain of salt for now.
