Back in August, there was a rumor that suggested that OnePlus could be working on a new phone in the form of the OnePlus 9 RT. It was initially reported that it could launch in October, and now according to the latest rumors, that’s pretty much the case.

This is according to a tweet by @OnLeaks who claims that the launch date for the OnePlus 9 RT could take place on the 15th of October, which is about a month from now. At this point in time, not much is known about the OnePlus 9 RT except that it will be part of the OnePlus 9 lineup but it might feature slightly different specs.

Some of the rumors include how it could pack a 120Hz display and could use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, but it might be a higher-binned version. We have also heard that it might come with 8-12GB of RAM and also have 128GB-256GB of storage. There are also rumors of a Sony IMX766 50MP sensor, and a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging.

That being said, don’t get too excited for this handset just yet because if the rumors are true, this phone might be an exclusive to India and China, so for those living stateside or in other parts of the world, you might not be able to get your hands on this phone, at least not in an official capacity.
