Like most manufacturers, Apple usually bundles its own apps on its products, whether it be the iPhone, iPad, or Mac computers. For the most part these apps are functional and simple where they are good enough to get the job done, but not necessarily the best if you want more advanced features.

However, you can now tell Apple how you feel about their first-party apps because it seems that with iOS 15, Apple has enabled user reviews for their first-party apps. App reviews aren’t new and are useful to gauge how effective an app is, but now it looks like users can leave their reviews for Apple’s own apps.

We’re not sure how Apple plans to treat reviews of its own apps, and whether or not they will pay close attention to the ratings and complaints. After all, these are bundled apps so whether users like it or not, some of them already come preinstalled, so whether or not you like them, they’re there until you decide to delete them.

Perhaps this is Apple’s way of showing that they are seeking more feedback from users moving forwards to help improve their first-party apps, but either way, if you’ve always wanted a way to let Apple know how good or bad their apps are here, here’s your chance.
