In the MCU, usually when it comes to solo films for characters, we get about 2-4 movies each. However, the MCU’s Spider-Man could be getting six and it seems that fan-favorite Tom Holland is expected to reprise the role in them.

As you know, there have been three Spider-Man movies with Holland to date, with the third coming out very soon. However, in an interview with Fandango, Sony producer Amy Pascal revealed that there are three more Spider-Man movies planned for the future and that they will be continuing to work with Holland.

According to Pascal, “This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel, it just isn’t part of… we’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”

It’s interesting because Holland had previously said in an interview with GQ that if he’s still playing Spider-Man after he’s 30, he’s “done something wrong”. Holland is currently 25 and since it can take a few years in between movies, there is a good chance the actor will be over 30 by the time the sixth movie is out.

More than likely Sony, Marvel, and Holland might have struck up some kind great deal to keep the actor interested, but either way, for fans of Holland’s Spider-Man, it looks like we can expect to keep seeing him in the MCU for years to come.
