Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy W27, introducing a luxurious design and advanced satellite communication capabilities to the foldable smartphone market. Based on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra architecture, the new device stands out with a striking blue and red color scheme, complemented by gold accents on the frame, hinge, camera module, and lens rings, alongside a distinctive series emblem on the rear panel.

For enhanced durability, the outer display and back panel feature Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3, complemented by an IP48 water and dust resistance rating. The external layout boasts a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Unfolded, the device reveals an 8-inch internal QXGA+ panel featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

Under the hood, the Galaxy W27 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, paired with 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage. Connectivity options include 5G networking, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and native integration with the Tiantong satellite network, enabling voice calls and messaging in remote areas. Powering the system is a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 45W wired and 20W wireless charging.

The camera system comprises a 200 MP primary rear sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP ultrawide lens, and a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
