Sony offers new Bluetooth Headset for PS3

If you happen to own a PS3 and would love to give your in-game communications a stylish boost, then feel free to check out the new Bluetooth headset for the console. While it is tipped to deliver a similar, unparalleled gaming experience as its predecessor, it comes in a new form factor as suspected, shedding plenty of weight in the process. You can now engage in Call of Duty: Black Ops, MAG or Killzone 3 while looking cool, as this Bluetooth headset sports a dual-microphone design, automatic pairing via USB cable with the PS3, in-game headset status indicator, an easily accessible microphone mute button, and a charging cradle which also doubles up as a desktop microphone. It is also touted to be the only peripheral at the moment that delivers High-Quality (HQ) mode for crystal clear voice chat while gaming on the PS3. Just because it is 30% smaller than before, that doesn’t mean it is any cheaper, maintaining its $49.99 price point. Heck, you can also use it with other Bluetooth 1.1 or higher compatible devices, but make sure your PS3 is updated to system software version 3.50 or later to pair it up!
