Now here is something interesting for you to check out – the Web version of Nokia maps (which is currently in beta) can actually function on non-Nokia devices, now how about that? We’re talking about compatibility with Android-powered and iOS-powered devices, including the iPhone 4.

To get the Web version of Nokia Maps up and running on non-Nokia devices, just point the device’s browser to m.maps.ovi.com, where you will then be greeted by a version of Nokia Maps. Right now, you can only choose to check out your current location, and heck, it is good enough to point the way to your destination from wherever you are at the moment. You will lack voice commands and turn by turn navigation, of course, not to mention losing the advantage of offline maps access.

With this, who knows that the future might hold for Nokia Maps on non-Nokia devices? On a side note, Nokia Maps v3.08 is now available, so get downloading already!
