Some of us may remember that Apple used to sell the MacBook laptop. This MacBook laptop utilized a plastic unibody case and was a cheaper alternative to aluminum unibody MacBook Pro. Then Apple introduced the MacBook Air, and when its price started to match the MacBook, Apple decided to drop the MacBook from their line. If you miss the white unibody design of the MacBook, perhaps you can relive those memories with ClamCase’s all-white keyboard case for the iPad 2.

The keyboard case is pictured above, and upon first glance you can’t be blamed for thinking that it’s the MacBook. The new keyboard case by ClamCase is said to be thinner and lighter than previous offerings from ClamCase, and is made out of a high-grade polycarbonate plastic shell, and will utilize a scissor-action chiclet keyboard that’s reminiscent of the MacBook.

Much like most keyboard cases, ClamCase’s offering will offer 14 special keys that have been designed to offer quick access to media playback control. The keyboard will pair with your iPad 2 via Bluetooth 2.0 and is available from ClamCase’s website for $149.
