lawsuit-500We know that Samsung and Apple aren’t exactly on the best of terms, with both companies suing each other with whatever they’ve got, and with either side basically going after every new device put out by the other. This is why we guess it is not surprising to have learnt that Apple has decided to add Samsung’s Galaxy S4 flagship device to the list of devices that alleged infringe upon Apple’s patents, with Apple concluding that the Samsung Galaxy S4 “is an infringing device and accordingly intends to move for leave to add the Galaxy S4 as an infringing product.” As it stands, both companies have about 22 devices each that they claim have infringed upon each other’s patents, with Samsung listing pretty much every iOS device Apple has ever made, while Apple has gone after most of Samsung’s Android products, including the Galaxy S-series of phones and Galaxy Note phablets. Either way the trial has been set for 2014 and we can only wish Judge Lucy Koh the best of luck in trying to sort it out.
