What do you do if you’re a fan of old-school video games, but at the same time, you can’t imagine your life without a good book to snuggle up with and read until the wee hours of the morning? You could always have a bookcase as well as a shrine to your love of video games, or you can combine them, just like Reddit user JHood_ did.

The Nintendo 64 Book Case Mod, which JHood_ calls the “Nintendomnicrom,” was carved out of a wood and leather box that resembled an actual book. With this being JHood_’s first modification, it isn’t bad, but it isn’t perfect at the same time. For example, the mod doesn’t have an air vent, but it DOES have a fan.

The quality of the box really helps sell the book case mod as it adds to much of the modifcation’s quality, although the Nintendo 64 logo, its start button and the ports for the four controllers are all done very well. For you reset-button lovers out there, you MAY notice JHood_ forgot to include it in this mod. He actually didn’t forget, but instead opted to leave the button out as he pretty much despises it. We’re sure you’re not going to miss it when you consider how awesome the mod came out overall.
