We guess due to the iPod touch lacking in certain features compared to the iPhone, Apple has managed to create a device that is much thinner. However it seems that Apple could be making its next-gen iPhone just as thin as the current iPod touch, assuming of course that the recently leaked cases are anything to go by.

The folks at Unbox Therapy have recently uploaded a new video, this time comparing an alleged iPhone 6 case against that of the iPhone 5s. In fact it seems that the dimensions of the iPhone 6 are apparently more or less the same as its iPod touch which allows the device to fit inside the case in terms of thickness, but not size due to the difference in screen sizes.

However leaked iPhone cases aren’t necessarily confirmation of the device’s size and design. It is possible that whoever created the case could simply be basing the design and dimensions off a rumor or a fake schematic, so there is a chance that they might be wrong. Then again Apple has been working at trying to create slimmer iPhones with every release, so it wouldn’t be completely out of the question to think that the iPhone 6 could be thinner than before.

In any case if you have a few minutes to spare and you’d like to check out how thin the iPhone 6 could potentially be, hit up the video above for the details. In the meantime what do you guys think? Would you like to see an iPhone that is as thin as an iPod touch, or would you prefer something a bit more “meaty” so that it grips better?
