Well, we certainly have had our fair share of Samsung Galaxy S5 Active image leaks in the past week alone, so much so that such news has already gotten old, and fast. Here we are with official word from AT&T that the are going to deliver the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active to the masses from today onward, where you can pick it up via online channels or over at AT&T stores for zero down or no annual contract.

In addition, this rugged smartphone can also be made part of your communications arsenal for $27.50 each month with AT&T Next 18, or $35.75 per month with AT&T Next 12 or $199 if you decide to ride on a two-year agreement. Apart from that, customers are able to save up to $50 on a Samsung Gear Fit should they decide to groove with the Galaxy S5 Active.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is touted to be quite the tough nut to crack, considering how it has shock resistant capability, is water resistant, and also comes with a dust proof casing. Not only that, the convenience key located on the side of the Galaxy S5 Active would allow you to launch a slew of apps that are related to outdoor activity, all within a single place for easy access.

As for the rest of its hardware specifications, we are looking at a quad-core 2.5GHz processor, Android 4.4 KitKat as the operating system of choice, LTE support, a 5.1” Full HD Super AMOLED display, and a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera with digital zoom. [Press Release]
