Don’t you think that this is pretty ironic, to have a pair of swim shorts that do not actually get wet? Well, this is what the Frank Anthony Swimwear is all about, where it will rely on Hydrophobic Nanotechnology in order to make such a dream possible. Coming in sizes that range from 28 all the way to 40, the Frank Anthony Swimwear has been specially designed to be resistant to all water based substances, where among them would include the likes of coffee, soda and fruit juice.

Hmmm, being able to repel soda, coffee and fruit juice certainly makes this sound rather space age, don’t you think so? Apart from that, it would also translate to being resistant to just about any forms of staining that one would naturally receive when it comes to the aforementioned liquids.

In fact, just in case you are wondering whether it is a kind of topical coating that performs all of such “magic”, it isn’t. The fabric that is used features a hydrophobic nanostructure within the actual fabric itself, which in turn makes it breathable as well as completely safe for use. Right now, Frank Anthony Swimwear claims to be the only swimwear company on the market that relies on such hydrophobic nanotechnology fabric, which has been proven in tests to reduce dry-times by up to 95% compared to vanilla 100% polyester swim shorts. Hopefully the Kickstarter project will be able to raise the relevant funds in due time to become reality.
