movies-offlineSay old chap, you happen to own a spanking new Chromebook, and apart from getting some work (word processing and the like) done on the cloud with it, what else do you happen to make use of your Chromebook for? Perhaps it is time to get entertained while you are on the move, as we have just received word that the new Google Play Movies and TV Chrome app happens to have made available your favorite movies and TV shows on your Chromebook regardless of the time and place, and best of all is, you do not even need a Wi-Fi connection to get the job done.

Other than having offline mode appear on Chrome OS, it will also deliver Info Cards and an improved Chromecast as well as local playback experience to just about anyone who watches movies using the Chrome browser.

This move by Google definitely goes against a common line of thought that without an Internet connection, the Chromebook will just about be as useful as the paperweight that is sitting on your desk. Apart from that, the Google Play Movies and TV extension will also arrive with a superior Chromecast experience, as well as the info cards concerning actors in a scene which made an appearance on Android in the previous year. As long as you happen to live in a country that supports Google Play Movies, you’re good to go.
