samsung inviteAbout a week ago, it was speculated that Samsung could be thinking about announcing the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on the 3rd of September. Why the 3rd of September? Well the 3rd of September would essentially be a couple of days before IFA 2014 kicks off, so instead of having to compete with the rush of product announcements taking place then, holding an event a couple of days earlier makes sense.

Well it looks like the rumors were spot on because Samsung has officially begun sending out invites to their event which, surprise, surprise, is held on the 3rd of September! According to the invite, the 3rd of September is when Samsung’s Unpacked event will be held where it will be kicking off at 2PM.

The invite also points out other events that Samsung will be hosting ahead of IFA 2014, but if you wanted the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, then the 3rd of September event is when you’ll want to tune in. We have no idea what the Galaxy Note 4 could pack at the moment, but if the rumors are to be believed, we could be in for a treat.

According to the rumors, the Galaxy Note 4 is said to feature a 5.7-inch QHD display. It is also rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 chipset with an Exynos variant for markets without LTE. It will also be accompanied by 3GB of RAM, a 16MP rear-facing camera, and will most likely run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but be sure to check back with us on the 3rd of September for the details!
